I MISS TAIWAN!

  • Jun. 28th, 2009 at 8:11 PM
Yep. That about sums up what I've been thinking for the past two to three days.

Trip to Taiwan was awesome! Love the scenery and shopping was fruitful too! Zhen and I are thinking if planning another trip down again, probably next year, if possible. This time round with better transport calculations. Heh. Going on a second trip will definitely be more well planned and most likely be able to go to more places since we are more familiar with public transport there now.

We have over 1500 pictures taken over the past 10 days. Will all be up on Facebook in due time! =)

Hmmmm. If only they have NT30 plates of sashimi here in Singapore too..

Clumsy Me

  • Apr. 30th, 2009 at 12:28 PM
Clumsy clumsy me.

I think there's something wrong with my hand-eye (or whichever) coordination. Within a week's time, I've gotten three injuries. One each on both my elbows and a cut on my finger. Elbows were from rollerblading, no surprise there, and cut on my finger from peeling potatoes. Heh. I decided to peel off part of my finger, apparently.

My tuition kids commented yesterday that i should probably wear an astronaunt suit the next time I go rollerblading. And my mum says I should never cook. Ha.

Countdown to end of exams: 7 days!

Some positivity please!

  • Apr. 21st, 2009 at 12:00 PM
A lot of things have been happening in these few weeks. Both in my family and his. Adding that to exam stress and all, it's a little hard to take.

Yesterday, my brother went for his surgery to patch up the hole in his lung. Why didn't the doctor confirm earlier that it was really a hole and not just a leak? My brother had to endure 3 days of having a tube connected to his lungs before the retarded doctor says "Oh, I think he should go for a surgery. The X rays shows that there is a hole in his lungs." After a 5 hour surgery yesterday, I saw my brother in the ICU. With two tubes connected to his lungs, another for drip, breathing using the respirator. He was on morphine and looked really in pain. Just a few days ago, he was still happy playing games on his computer, playing basketball!

This really got me thinking on how lucky I am to have such a wonderful my little brother and how I never cherished that! I used to order him around, make him run errands for me, never appreciating him, even complaining about him all the time. He is really the best brother that one can ever want. And I never realised that. I hope he'll recover soon. I'll definitely treat him better than I used to from now on.

His family is another issue. I hope there's something I can do to help. He seems so stressed and tired all the time now. Miss the crooked boyish smile of his.

ARGHH. Can't wait for all these to be over!

Think of TAIWAN!!!!
